Meet the Match for Trails Plan Runs Through Oct. 30

Johnson County Trails Master Plan

Aspire Johnson County is promoting a Meet the Match campaign to raise funds for a Johnson County Trails Master Plan.

A project of Aspire Johnson County, the Johnson County Trails Team is committed to creating a comprehensive Trails Plan which will encourage the development and use of pedestrian/bicycle trails within and between the county's many cities, towns and destinations.

The Trails Plan will:

  • Incorporate the established trails plans of the cities of Greenwood and Franklin.
  • Support new trails for the county's smaller municipalities.
  • Identify opportunities and means for connectivity between cities, towns and destinations within the county.

Here are ways the community can help:

  • Make an individual tax-deductible donation to the ASPIRE/Trails fund at the Johnson County Community Foundation by clicking here.
  • Ask your company to make an end of the year tax-deductible donation by clicking here or mail donations to JCCF, Attention: ASPIRE/Trails Fund, PO Box 217, Franklin, IN 46131.

  • Share our message and encourage others who would like to see a more comprehensive multi-purpose trail connecting our county!

Sponsors can help the team raise additional funds through a matching grant. Already, Aspire has received a $40,000 grant through the Opus Foundation in Minnesota.

The Meet the Match campaign, which runs through October 31, includes the following donor levels:

  • Logo on ASPIRE Johnson County Trails website
  • Recognition on social media pages
  • Large logo in thank you ad that will be published in the Daily Journal
  • A link to your website on the ASPIRE Johnson County & Johnson County Development Corporation's websites

TRAIL PARTNER - $1,000

  • Small Logo in master trail plan document
  • Logo on ASPIRE Johnson County Trails website
